While I was working on my master's degree at Oklahoma State University, I taught freshman composition I and II. I also tutored. At OSU, my major was British literature. I transferred to a different university, the University of Central Oklahoma, for graduate work in composition/rhetoric. While there, I tutored all areas of writing. I helped students with writing for English classes, resumes, dissertations, theses, international composition, freshman composition, reading, etc. I also led conversation groups for international students. I graduate in December 2012 with a master's degree in English with an emphasis in composition/rhetoric. I love working with students who speak all different languages. I am extremely proficient in grammar/mechanics. I am detail-oriented, personable, and love tutoring. I love working one-on-one with students to see their personal learning growth over time. Even though my experience has been at the college level, I will be seeking public school teaching certification in Washington to teach middle school-high school. Tutoring and teaching is my passion, and I am great at it. My schedule is flexible and am willing to tutor online and in person.
