I am a member of Mensa and several other high IQ societies, including the International Society for Philosophical Enquiry (IQ in the top 0.1%).

I also scored in the top 0.1% on the GRE. I am well-versed in the latest revised versions of the GRE, SAT and GMAT. I know all the little tricks on those tests.

On this site alone, I have been tested and certified in 34 different subjects.

I have tutored countless students of all ages and in many subjects, successfully in all cases. Maybe you have a troubled student who has burned through a series of other tutors. That's when they call me. I've been there and done that. I know how to make people want to learn.

I offer hourly rates that are well below the average rates charged by other tutors. I'm not in this for the money.

No need to pay for a background check. Somebody else already did, and of course I passed.

Study Skills

I graduated summa cum laude (highest possible honors) from the U of CT. I'm going for my PhD next year. I am a 2-time New England Scholar. I recently scored a 333 on the revised GRE, with a 5.5 essay to boot. I am a professional tutor with another tutoring company, where study skills are explicitly emphasized as part of the program. Baseball

I played little league for 6 years, and was a 3-time all-star. I had an moderately successful baseball career for 4 years in high school. I have played adult softball for many years since. I also served as an umpire for two seasons. I am well versed in all the rules and fundamentals of the game. I am physically fit and able to participate actively in practices.

Chess

I have been playing the game for 30 years. My rating is 1850. On Chess Titans, I have a 73% win percentage at level 8, and 67% at level 9. I know and can explain the game to students very effectively.
