I am a registered nurse with a BS in medical missions from Bob Jones University, as well as a creative, experienced homeschooling mom of five successful young adults. It has been my privilege to tutor children of friends and neighbors in reading, language arts, history, science and French, and to teach English to K-12 students in an English immersion school for French-speaking children while living in Quebec. I also read, write and speak French.
Over the years, I have found that children learn in different ways. It is important to discover what works best for each child. Learning how to learn can open the door to a lifetime of pleasant, rewarding opportunities and adventures for your child. I would value the privilege of helping your child gain a mastery of the subject matter currently challenging him or her while discovering the joy of learning.
