I started teaching Chinese language
and culture to foreigners since 20 years ago when she worked as a assistant engineer in a international engineer group for a UN project in China.
I has been teaching Chinese language and culture courses at the college level for credit and non-credit courses, as well as other public and private schools from 2000 in US: Walla Walla Community College, Highline Community College, Green River Community College, University of Washington W omen's Center, Seattle Language Academy, North West Language Academy, Central Texas College and Associate in Cultural Exchange (ACE) etc. I has selected AP Chinese reader will work for College board for 2008 AP Chinese Exam.
I completed her university education and earn Engineer License in China. I worked as an Engineer, Sales/Marketing
Manager, Training Director and Public Relationship Official for high-teach companies in China for 10 years. I have also worked as an assistant to general manager of National Asian Marketing Department of MONY in USA for 3 years. I host CCLCC (CeCe Chinese Language & Culture Consultant) provide practical Chinese courses for all levels and needs to companies, Schools, Groups, Families and Individuals in Seattle area.
I grew up in a family of accomplished Chinese culture scholars. Being raised in this environment I could not help but to have a deep love for Chinese language and culture. My grandfather is one of the initiators of Nan She*. I am a member of International Nan She Association. Also, I am the Overseas Coordinator for SIDE (Sino-logical Institute for Deliberation and Exchange)** Shanghai, China.
* Nan She: was an important organization
of elite intellectuals against feudal imperial rule in early
20th century in China.
** SIDE: Sino-logical Institute for Deliberation and Exchange is a non-governmental cultural organization
aimed at promoting study and exchange of Chinese traditional culture in China and abroad. SIDE was
prepared together with Nan She Memorial Hall (NSMH) in Shanghai, China.
