I hold various technical degrees or am partially degreed in five specialties: Biology
, double majored, with BA completed and chemistry
minor and also BSEE completed; my senior thesis was a water conservation project. I completed my MBA (almost 4.0 GPA out of 4.0) and finished last class in Singapore).
I also performed graduate studies or partial Masters in Spanish Literature
(Madrid Spain) and almost completed my JD in Law
in California, 2.5 years out of 3, and was given a special assignment to WA, DC for a military contract. I tutored businessmen overseas in English
while studying abroad. I have done one on one tutoring with Boys and Girls club with math
and also taught at Catholic school for middle school students as summer job. Currently studying Hebrew
and take classes from Israel instructor in virtual classroom. I have taken all different types of classes including ASL
to flying to HAM Radio and actually worked with Princeton University Recording for the Blind, recording my voice while reading
college textbooks out loud in a soundproof room. I love learning and love to transfer my knowledge to others. I have served as coach and mentor for youth in my profession. I have served as President, VP, Trustee, and Director of over 7 professional managerial, engineering and nonprofit organizations. I have been nominated for numerous awards, including volunteer of the year twice. I have written and published five papers in my engineering profession.
I currently visit the area High Schools on a yearly basis and present E-Week to young students, providing information about engineers, their skills, and the amazing jobs and possibilities in the world today for completing an engineering discipline. I have also worked with Girl Scout troops since I am a former student pilot and taught young ladies all about the principles of flying. I also worked in a Homeless Shelter, the House of Ruth and helped young high school students with their calculus
courses so they would not fall behind while temporarily living in the shelter.
