I have been tutoring for two years at Edmonds Community College working primarily with adults. I have experience working with learning disabilities, mental health issues and other barriers to success. I am a mother of two and have learned a lot of patience. I am also a student and understand the challenges associated with education. I love helping students learn and apply information. My favorite part of tutoring is watching a students face light up when they understand a topic that had been challenging. In addition to tutoring, I also help students apply to universities and create effective personal statements. I look forward to working with you and seeing the magic of education happen!
Gaining confidence on a subject can be a difficult journey. Everyone has a talent and everyone has something that they struggle with. That is what makes us human. I enjoy sharing my talents with others and I appreciate when others share with me. It is important to me to accommodate my family and provide for them. It is also important to me to help others and to pay rent for my life. I have been blessed with strengths in subjects such as English and Psychology and I am grateful to have the opportunity to share my knowledge.
Confidence in the classroom and with education leads to success. Let's be successful together!
