As a college student, I am able to relate to students working to gain an understanding of a subject. I am a Human-Centered Design and Engineering (HCDE) student at the University of Washington. HCDE is an interdisciplinary program combining elements of design, computer science, and technical communications. Consequently, I have experience with programs in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), as well with writing and mechanics.
I also volunteer in the Dream Project, a tutoring program through the University of Washington to help high school students prepare for life after high school and applying to college, and I am an ethics TA for a class of students between the ages of 13 and 15.
As a tutor I will work with each student to develop a personalized lesson plan for improving the areas most important for each student's needs and goals.
