Hi. My name is David. I have a B.S. degree in Mathematics and a minor in Chemistry. I am currently a full-time chemistry lab instructor.
I have over ten years of experience tutoring math and have previously tutored one-on-one at a local community college.
My primary goal as a tutor is to help my student become an independent learner. Instead of giving my student all the answers, I ask enough questions to help them understand why and where they are having trouble. My responsibility, as a tutor, is to help them if they get stuck, try to troubleshoot where they might be going wrong, help them find an example in their textbook or notes, and practice similar problems with them.
