I am well a rounded, seasoned, professional specializing in learning concepts. I have a B.A. in Economics from the University of Cincinnati, a B.S. in Education Secondary Ed. from Xavier University, 20 years of teaching experience, overseas teaching experience and experience in all types of institutional venues. I have professionally taught: Economics, Mathematics, Pre-Algebra, English 9 and 10, U.S. History, Contemporary and Ancient Civilization,World Geography, Government, Psychology, Sociology, Government Philosophy, German I and II, and Health.

I believe that education is lighting of a fire, not the filling of a bucket. I utilize real world experiences to relate to students and they respond in kind.

I have traveled to Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Mexico, all fifty states sans Hawaii (I know, I will get there), Germany, Italy, Greece, Canada, The Caribbean, etc.

I remain current with regards to the "news", follow politics, some sports, and am a sort of a Renaissance person. I have classical music experience in voice and play the saxophone as well.
