I am a Japanese tutor and translator with 3 years of experience teaching children, 16 years experience in translation, 9 years experience living in the trendy Shibuya district of Tokyo. I have B.S. with honors in child/developmental psychology, with an emphasis in linguistic and symbolic development from the University of Maryland and an M.A. from the University of Washington in Japanese Art History. I passed the Level 1 (highest level of proficiency) of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. My hobbies are cooking, cinema, and Spanish.
