I was born and raised in Japan but was always interested in learning Chinese language and culture, so I went ahead and studied Chinese as my minor concentration while I majored in Asian studies program at University of Colorado, Boulder.
As for my working experience in using Chinese, I have been largely involved in student exchange and recruitment program between Taiwan and the US schools. As far as my teaching experience is concerned, I have been teaching mostly beginning level Chinese to K12 to working professionals for the last years and I immensely enjoy teaching it.
I hope I can be any help to your need to learn more about Chinese or her culture.

As for my professional credentials, I have been teaching Japanese for various constituents ranging from young children to working professionals for the last 25 years in academic institutions. I have taught beginning to advanced level Japanese both in universities and high schools as well as extensive private tutoring experiences all over the states and Japan.
To be specific, I have taught the following credit baring classes: JAP 102, 202, 302, 402 at Bear Creak high in Lakewood Colorado; JAP 102 at Red Rock Community College in Lakewood Colorado. I have also taught beginning Japanese at Fit Simons US military base in Colorado.
As for my academic credentials, I have my BA in Asian Studies at University of Colorado, Boulder and MS in International Studies at Central Connecticut State University.
As for my personal history, I was born and raised in Japan, and have been living in the states for the last 25 years. I speak Japanese as my native language, and enjoy outdoor activities, which includes fishing, camping, walking and hiking. Presently, I write, translate, and tutor English and Japanese as my profession.
I have worked for KUMON Math School as a primary teacher while I worked on my teaching certificate in a college in Japan. My graduate work is based on international education and business at Central Connecticut State University. I have been working K12 students with their Algebra and geometry for the last 30 years and love working with students until they solve the problems.
