As a professional college professor with an economics undergraduate from the University of Oregon and 2 graduate schools from Corban University (Education) and Ball State University (Applied Behavior Analysis), I guarantee your success, or I will refund your money!

I am a very personable and charismatic instructor, who is very well rounded in multiple subjects (Mathematics is my favorite). I have years of experience teaching in college classrooms and one-on-one tutoring. Also, I offer mentoring services for those interested in behavior health as I am trained in Applied Behavior Analysis and Substance Abuse Prevention. If your loved one suffers from autism or other behavior health disorder, I am welcome to discuss a family-based solution to address your pressing issues.

All my students who endeavor to succeed have benefited tremendously from my services. Please do not hesitate to contact me. I will respond promptly to your inquiries.

Cheers,

Michael

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Aspergers

I have a master's degree in education. I was employed as a behavior specialist for a teen with Asperger's Syndrome for 3-years, and I mentored/tutored/gave behavioral support 3 hour/day, 5 days/week the entire time. He improved dramatically with my assistance over that period of time. I also completed an online behavioral specialist course during our time together.

Autism

I have worked with teens with autism the past 3 years. Mostly, I was involved as a behavioral specialist with my main goals to build up his self-esteem through physical activities. His confidence was very low, and a great achievement of mine was to relate to him at his level in order to gain his trust.

Business

I have an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Oregon and an MBS from Corban University. I have also opened and operated a number of businesses.

Econometrics

I have an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Oregon. I graduated the department with a 3.5 GPA, and I received honors from the economics department for my development of the Central Oregon Business Index, which incorporated the use of econometrics heavily.

Fitness

I have been involved with sports my entire life beginning with track/field and football. I have been involved with numerous triathlons, where swimming, biking, and running are all involved at a high level. I have completed a bicycling trek from San Diego to Seattle. I am also a certified PADI Dive Master.

Poker

I am an experienced semi-professional poker player with over 10 years of ups and downs in the circuit.

Social Studies

I have many credits in my undergraduate degree in a variety of social courses such as economics, political science, geography, Latin American studies, multicultural studies, among others. I also received my social studies endorsement after passing the Praxis testing.
