Hi, my name is Jill. One of my favorite things about teaching is figuring out where a student is in their language ability, and working together to reach the next level. I have worked with complete beginners through to advanced PhD applicants, and enjoyed every level.
I have had opportunities to work with people from China, Japan, New Caledonia, Oman, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, and Democratic Republic of Congo, among other countries.
Teaching middle school and high school students for five years at international schools was also a delight.
The youngest person I have taught was 4 years old; the oldest 72.
I have worked extensively with people preparing for the TOEIC, TOEFL and IELTS examinations.
Besides ESL/ESOL, I have taught journalism, social studies, English (to English speakers), and Japanese.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you!
