Hello

I tutor Spanish and English and more

If you do not enjoy learning and studying, then success will be hard to reach. I keep the experience casual and changing, preventing boring episodes that undermine learning.

I recently graduated from the University of Washington in Business. I am young and passionate not burned out at all. I have decided to pursue tutoring because I get much pleasure from it that I have not found in business.

Each lesson is concierge style of teaching. Because I am younger I can relate to many of the younger students better and I bring a fresh approach to the table that is well over due.

I have lived in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru learning Spanish. I spent the last 14 months living in Colombia after I graduated. I was teaching English there to all types of people. I was also perfecting my Spanish.

I was always the one in class that took a little longer to figure things out. I failed out of my high school Spanish 8 years ago, but now in just 18 months I have become near fluent thanks in part to my Colombian girlfriend and my own discipline of studying regularly.

With the right mindset, motivation and teacher, it can be done even for the most challenged students.

I cater to whatever your mission is with Spanish.

The personal classes are just the start of what I offer you. I provide numerous additional resources and ideas to aid in your learning while you are at home that will keep you motivated and interested.

Out of the box learning approach gets you speaking from the start.

Don't fret on the grammar as my approach uses memorable methods to get it across.

I have been tutoring for the past 3 year on my own. I have recently begun using this website to find students therefore I do not have many testimonials or history on this site.

Let us surprise each other!

Gracias!

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Cooking

I have been experimenting in the kitchen for the last 7 years honing my skills by trial and error. I teach people the difference between a chef and a cook. A chef cooks and creates a wonderful dish with what he has in the fridge. A cook follows directions and goes to the store to get what he needs. I teach how to make the best of what you have. I teach experimentation and where to get ideas from to continually improve.

ESL/ESOL

I have very nice clear deep native English accent. I teach through a very personal approach that empowers the student. I want you to be confident to speak the language after you leave me. I have many different ways to help teach you the language. Let us speak it with little disruptions. I will explain why things are certain ways when necessary.

Spanish

Learn it naturally do not force yourself to memorize things. Relax and you will become far more capable of absorbing material. We do not use grammer terms we keep it very none formal while still learning everything about the grammer with out getting frightened by it.

Great Tutor! Very Reliable — Bryce is always reachable, and responds promptly to emails and texts. He is tutoring my 8th grade son in Spanish 1. My son's test grades jumped from C's to B's after only two sessions with Bryce. My son seems to like working with Bryce - he has a low-key approach that seems to work well. He has provided some tips for what my son can work on beyond the class text. It has been easy to schedule a tim ...
