Hello, I love teaching, tutoring, and leading young people (kindergarten through college). The very first time I tutored, I was in high school and I went to the local elementary school to tutor reading. I was hooked! Since then, I have worked as a tutor for all ages, and most subjects. I have also worked for over ten years with kids and teens who have special needs. I have a passion for tutoring, as I have utilized tutoring when I was younger, and it helped me tremendously. I now have a Bachelor's degree in Collaborative Health and Human Services and I graduated with honors. I welcome the opportunity to be a part of helping others to achieve their goals. Thank you.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Bible Studies

I worked for 3 years coordinating a church nursery, including supervising nursery employees and designing and implementing Christian education curriculum for preschoolers and kindergarteners. Following that, I worked for 9 years as a church youth group leader for middle school and high school youth. In that position I created, organized, and implemented bible study and Christian education curriculum for the church youth group, as well as supervised and trained adult volunteers to work with the youth.

Sign Language

I am fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and Signed Exact English (SEE). I learned both of these while growing up, because I had some very close friends who were Deaf. Since then, I have taught sign language at a charter school and interpreted at various local events. I have a passion for ASL, and would welcome the opportunity to tutor sign language to anyone who desires to learn the language and to learn about Deaf culture!

3x + -5.44 = 29 First, you want to add the inverse of -5.44 to both sides of the equation. 3x=29 + 5.44 3x = 34.44 Now you want to multiply the invers of 3 (which is 1/3) to both sides of equation. 3 x 1/3=1, so that leaves you with just x on one side. x = 34.44/3 x...
