My daughter's second tutoring session was amazing! As she prepared for an upcoming test, Kevin was able to take apart concepts and present them to her in a way that she understood. He also impressed upon her the importance of studying and practicing her new skill - something she actually did (without me prompting) after he left. Once again, after her lesson she was beaming with confidence and commented, "Why didn't we do this sooner?"

This is the first time we have used a tutor. Kevin was punctual, enthusiastic and patient. He took the time to get to know our son and to teach him in terms he could understand. He was cheerful and had a passion for physics which put our son at ease and motivated him to get his project done. Our son was not excited about getting a tutor but with Kevin's relaxed manner he received the the help he needed and is able to finish the rest of the assignment on his own. Kevin has been working with my daughter for several weeks now. Not only has her grade been going up steadily but so has her confidence with pre-calc and her stress level has decreased. Kevin makes himself very available not only for scheduled tutoring sessions but whenever she may have a question. He helps her in every way he can and we are forever appreciative!

Thanks to Kevin's wonderful tips, techniques and his humor and approach, my son has been able to understand what he needs to do well in honors physics and is well prepared for the AP Physics B test. But most of all Kevin really help instill confidence in my son who was challenged this semester in physics. Kevin is able to really explain all of the concepts in layman's terms and provide real life examples that a teenager can understand and relate to - he has a knack of being able to make learning an enjoyable process. My 15-year-old son has had several sessions with Kevin. Kevin is positive, patient and explains things in a way that “clicks” with my son. He has provided a practice plan that is working, and my son will actually practice on his own without being told. My son looks forward to his sessions with Kevin, and after just the first session commented, “I wish he worked at our school. So many kids could be helped.” Not only are my son’s grades beginning to turn around, but he no longer feels lost and helpless. That is priceless! I’m so glad we found Kevin!

Kevin is tutoring my daughter in Honors Physics and she has made great strides in only 2 sessions. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the subject and was able to bring clarity to concepts she didn't completely grasp through class lectures and reading. He has a calm, patient demeanor and gave her a lot of encouragement. He used real world examples and diagrams to connect concepts to practical world applications. Highly recommended!
