I love helping others achieve goals through knowledge and skill development using methods and approaches tailored to their learning style.
I am an accomplished pianist and organist and can teach basic piano and music reading.
I have an M.Ed. from Seattle University with an emphasis in Vocational Guidance and Counseling and a BA (Cum laude) from Gonzaga University with a major in Political Science and 2 minors: History and Philosophy
Currently, I am a writer, spoken-word audio narrator, and producer. I have narrated, written, published, and produced various projects: children's stories, a DVD/CD project about Black Entrepreneurs in the United States during the 18th and 19th centuries and narrated several projects for ACX.com (An Amazon company).
My previous work experience includes more than 30 years in the field of vocational guidance and counseling, working with federal and state programs for adults and youth with significant personal, education, and employment barriers. My work in this field involved a variety of positions ranging from direct work with clients, job development, program management, and program auditing/monitoring. During this time, I also created and taught several training courses including grant writing and job search readiness.
I also have over 30 years' experience working part-time as a Church Organist/Pianist.
