I am a PhD student in the Department of Mathematics of University of Washington. I have been teaching as an instructor in UW for four years since 2008. The courses I taught include precalculus, calculus (all levels), algebra, trigonometry, geometry and differential equations. Besides, I've worked as a private tutor since 2009, working with people including children from middle school, high school and college, as well as working employees who pursue higher degree in math.
Currently, I am still an active instructor in UW on weekdays and tutor three kids on weekends. As a tutor, I worked with most of my customers for at least 3 months in the past few years (I have already been tutoring the current three kids for 2 years and almost become a member of their families).
My rate is $30/hours and it may increase by $5/hour if long-distance(> 10 miles) traveling is needed.
I look forward to working with you and have fun with math!
