Hi, my favorite subjects in high school and college were chemistry, biochemistry, and Math, and I received above 3.5 GPA. I gained teaching experiences by serving as teaching and research assistant at chemistry department for 9 years. To apply knowledge of chemistry, biochem, and Math, I worked as a postdoc and research scientist conducting research on DNA, RNA, proteins, and cells.
As of January 2013, I have worked with seventeen students in many levels of knowledge in general chemistry, chemical thermodynamics, biochemistry, organic chemistry, calculus, and algebra. Tutoring activities include more than 60 sessions with more than 100 hours total to date.
My accomplishments include: receiving 37 five-star tutor ratings (95%); publishing 9 research papers; development and establishment of chemical and biochemical analyses and assays; and screening of drugs for diseases.
My teaching philosophy is to make it easier for student to understand the complex questions by receiving information from someone who knows the related experiments and theories so that student can gain more interest and passion in the above subjects. So, I will provide practical examples to let you better understand the principles and theories. Those examples are gained from previous experimentation and theoretical analyses. Thank you.
