I love photography and technology and have a passion for sharing both with others. I have 30+ years of hands on photography. I ran my own lab while living and traveling Europe and Asia for 20 years, and I have been using digital for the past 10 years. I can teach digital processing on Windows, Mac, and Linux. My approach to teaching has always been focused on two points:
1. Hands on approach to the basics of photography - The basics are essential and generally best learned through hands on equipment learning as well as whiteboard explanations.
2. Follow the lead and interests of the student - I find most students learn faster when the teaching flows with their interest. Taking pictures and working with their results right away make it real and easier to learn.
