I have a master's degree in science focusing on environmental sciences, especially conservation, ecology, physiology and marine sciences. I also am a board certified Veterinary Technician and am quite competent with microbiology, pharmacology, anatomy and other medical related topics. I also excelled in an undergraduate course titled "Teaching Marine Science," which focused on teaching to local high schools. I was responsible for designing lesson plans, working with the school districts to meet state standards, delegating tasks to assistant teachers and overseeing lessons and working hands on with the students. As a graduate student I was responsible for acting as a student teacher when professors were unavailable. I filled in for undergraduate classes such as statistics, marine biology, oceanography and marine monitoring.

Learning has always come very easy to me as I have a photographic memory and I also have a strong desire to teach others. If there is a topic that I am not as proficient at I will do the work to get proficient prior to a session. I am very easy going and my goal is to make learning fun and easy for you. I adapt my teaching styles to your learning style and work at your speed. I work with students of all ages.
