I am a certified teacher with 14 years experience teaching English in both public and private schools. I have extensive experience with one-on-one instruction from grade school through adult at all ability levels.

Currently I am tutoring adults in ESL. Included among my students are those from Japan, Poland, Saudi Arabia, India, Ehtiopia, Ukraine, China, Iraq and Mexico. These students are at all ability levels from beginning learners to advanced professionals. I am finding that I am learning as much about their diverse cultures as my students are learning about the English language. Tutoring with them is most rewarding!

At the private school, I have also taught students with special challenges such as ADD/ADHD, social anxiety, depression, and anorexia. Being able to explain your frustrations, face to face with a professional educator can be the first step in a whole new way of learning. I will build on your strengths as a bridge to improving your weaknesses, all in a safe environment based on trust and personal integrity.
