Business

I grew up in a family business, so in a way, you could say I have been in business my whole life. Though I chose my own path as a business consultant, it has produced great results I hope to share with you. Also, as a School of Business Faculty member, I have numerous experiences in designing, and evaluating effective business models for noted businesses as Microsoft, Pearson Education, and the Institute of Systems Biology. I hope we get the opportunity to meet and develop some successful business ideas ourselves.

Career Development

I can help you design a new career, improve the one you have, or begin the amazing journey of discovering true talents you never knew existed. Either way, you can get support to not only improve your professional career, but design a future of great job content and satisfaction you have never experienced before. I will facilitate your efforts to redesign your resume, your professional image, and how you sell yourself. Let me know how YOU want to get the most out of your abilities to grow professionally.

Elementary (K-6th)

As a classroom teacher for 15 years, what it all really comes down to is just how well you can get students to connect with the subject matter, and develop skills for future success. I have a multiple subject teaching credential for preschool to 12th grade. I have taught all subjects in grades K-8 and specialize in multiple intelligence learners. I make a plan of success that will have strong success and reliable results that you can help to manage into the future.

General Computer

The first computer I ever worked on was an Apple IIe – ever heard of it? Since that time, I have diverse experience in designing effective computer classes, and coaching new users to feel comfortable and confident in using various computer hardware, software, and programs. Broad understanding of various computer needs/media, program use, and support of new software programs, or installation.

Public Speaking

I have been speaking publicly for over 10 years. I have created many types of presentations including: Professional, Business/Board, Public/Political, Educational, Informational, and Entertaining. I work to support your plans, preparation, and practice routines until you become a confident speaker. After all, practice makes perfect and isn’t that what you want your presentation/public speaking to be?

Web Design

I have been working in web design for the past 7 years, and always look to build sites that are clear, and simple to use.

Approved Subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet certified in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
