I am a professional biologist, a former teacher and a mother. I have always had an affinity for teaching. Even as a new mom and a professional I have always found time to teach on the side. With my recent move to the NW (from Georgia), I have been working hard to meet people and get to know the area. My expertise is biology, environmental science, ecology, human anatomy and physiology and nutrition. I spent two years teaching high school biology and AP Environmental Science before taking my current position as a prof biologist, and I miss it much more than I thought I would. I have also spent time at the local colleges, in Georgia, teaching Human Anatomy/Physiology for non traditional students (night classes). I hope to be able to help students, to not only understand biology, but to gain an appreciation for the importance of it in our every day lives.
