Hello! My name is Nat. I am currently working on my master's degree in mathematics, and I am eager to help you do well in your math studies. I have 7 years of experience tutoring students from 6th grade through college level. I enjoy helping others discover what they can get out of learning mathematics, and work really hard to make mathematics accessible to anyone. I focus on understanding where the student is coming from, in order to help them make the connection from one concept to another.
I have developed my tutoring skills by working in college tutoring centers, taking tutoring classes, and working as a private tutor. At The Evergreen State College's Quantitative and Symbolic Reasoning Center I was promoted to tutor coordinator, a position where I worked as a teaching assistant and developed various math workshops for students. Currently, I work as a job coach for persons with disabilities.
