I have been learning Flash for a while now. I am good with the illustration, animation and programming side of Flash. I took programming courses at UW, so I am familiar with standards based programming and am also familiar with ActionScript 3.0, the language used in Flash development.
Adobe Illustrator is the graphics program that I am most familiar with. I have done print and web work with it and am familiar with most of its capabilities. I have drawn logos, complex artwork, 3-D artwork, animations, and have had some experience tutoring Illustrator.
The work I have done with Photoshop has mostly dealt with web production. I have done such tasks as image correction, web slicing, button creation, and ad creation. I also have limited print design experience using Photoshop.
My degree started out as a fine arts degree within which I learned about drawing and painting, graphic design, and using mixed mediums to create artwork. I took four drawing courses including beginning drawing, drawing from observation, advanced drawing from observation using models, and drawing for motion, which was designed for animation programs. I use whatever I learned in these courses when teaching others about drawing effectively. As for mediums, I am familiar with drawing with pencils, color pencils, and charcoal.
