I also love history. I'm strong in Ancient Rome and European history. The Russian and French Revolutions are both points of interest. I have spent a lot of time with the causes and experiences of WW1. The neolithic and early civilizations are a great passion for me. There is almost no period of time or location on Earth that I don't have at least something to say about. History can be very boring if it's just dates and names of strangers. Let me help you put stories to those names and dates, then the human story will make more sense.

I was trained by the state of California to teach ESL students as a volunteer in the 1990's. I worked with many students then and occasionally in the years since. I also have studied many languages and understand the process of acquiring a new language.

Macintosh

I have been a devoted Macintosh user for nearly a decade. I have the most experience with OS X, including installing and ordering languages, finding things in Finder, file organization, internet connectivity, and software installation.
