I have been a university professor for 25 years. My doctoral degree is in cognitive psychology, and I have been studying how the developing brain processes information and the important role of selective attention in learning and memory throughout my research career. I particularly enjoy teaching children and teens and am experienced in psychological and psychiatric assessment of brain disorders, including ADHD and bipolar disorder.

I believe in treating all students as equal partners in the learning experience, but expect the student to put as much care and effort into the learning experience as I do. A good fit between student and tutor is essential for a productive learning environment. I appreciate creativity and often rely on diagramming to solve problems. I believe that good note-taking is an important component of good study habits and subject mastery.

She partnered well with me and gave me the needed boost to get through the final push of my thesis. She was able to help me organize my thoughts into a cohesive paper, which will make it easier for me to present and defend. I would certainly use her again if the si ...
