I am a substitute para-educator in the Auburn School District and am also a Professional Photographer. I have over 30 years experience working with all ages of children in various positions. I studied Deaf Education and Elementary Education at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. I received my Associate's Degree in Architectural and Construction Technology from Pikes Peak Community College, Colorado Springs, CO. I also completed the Summer Intensive Program at Rocky Mountain School of Photography.

Sign Language

I learned sign language in high school and continued at that time interpreting for deaf students in other classes. I was also very active in our high school Theater for the Deaf, performing often. My major at Augustana College was Deaf Education. I don't use my signing very much right now but am always open to opportunities to keep my skill level and fluency current.
