I have been tutoring in private and public settings for 6 years. I adore teaching, which is why I am willing to tutor in so many different subjects. My degrees are in Math, Accounting, and Economics. However, I have been teaching piano for several years. I am a proficient musician, skilled in Organ, Percussion, Piano, Voice, Composition, and Theory. I loved school growing up and all its many subjects, which is why I believe enjoyment, taking pleasure in one's studies, is the key to learning. Motivation can be found for some in a high score while others need a movie night; either way, I believe working towards a goal set forth by the student is integral.

Piano

I began studying piano when I was 3 years old. At the age of 14 I began playing professionally and also held a private apprenticeship. I began teaching at 17, when I entered college. I am now 22 and am still madly in love with the instrument! I also play the organ, handbells, and percussion. I performed the last of these with a wind ensemble in Carnegie Hall, NY.

Sewing

I have been sewing for many years. I began designing and sewing my own gowns 8 years ago when I was in high school. Since then I have created costumes for theater, quilts, personal garments, children's clothing, and home decoration such as custom pillow shams. I also create patterns.

Bible Studies

I have taken 6 years of biblical studies. This includes Introduction to Christianity, Old Testament Studies, New Testament Studies, Other Religions and Apologetics, Old Testament Literature, New Testament Literature, and Christianity Character and Culture.

Needlework

I have been working in needlework since I was 6. I am able to embroider, knit, crochet, cross stitch, latch hook, hand sew, and create my own patterns.
