I have had over 10 years of experience in all levels of teaching from elementary through college. Throughout most of my teaching career, I have had the wonderful opportunity to instruct a diverse group of high school and middle school students including those with diverse educational needs and modifications. I am certified to teach elementary, special education, English 6-12 and German 5-12. I have international tutoring and schooling experience in ESL as well.

My greatest applicable strength is my ability to design a stimulating and effective curriculum/lesson that instills a love for learning and an appreciation for language, literature and culture. I incorporate fun, imaginative manipulatives and hands-on activities for my students in order to encourage student learning and self-discovery. I am a very self-disciplined and organized person who is attentive to details. I am a lifelong learner who is committed to helping others in need.

I attended college in Switzerland where I majored in Math, German and Elementary education. I have a BA from Berea College in Education and German. I have a Masters in Education and German from the University of Michigan as well.
