As a recent graduate of Northeastern University's MBA program, I understand the pressures facing students at all levels today to achieve the grades and test scores they need to move on to better things. The role of a tutor, therefore, is to facilitate in whatever way possible the accomplishment of the student's goals. My philosophy is foremost to work with the strengths of my students to ensure that they achieve at the highest level of which they are capable.
Having taught SAT preparation classes as early as my junior year of High School, I have had a significant amount of experience working with students in all age groups to develop the skills they need to ace a range of subjects, from SAT Math to college-level Organic Chemistry. My hands-on experience in the laboratory setting and in the business world give me an ideal perspective from which to teach the real-life value of the academic skills I can teach, and my experience as a game designer helps me to connect with otherwise disinterested students.
