Cheers! My specialty is Music Composition, for which I received a BA from Keene State College in 1998. I graduated with a specialty in Classical Guitar. I come from a musical family. My mother concertized on Marimba and Percussion and later performed as an Opera Singer. My father was a folk musician from whom I learned finger picking style guitar from age 10. I acquired Classical technique and repertoire from Jose Lezcano at Keene State over five years. I then studied West African Percussion in Senegal and stateside for over six years. I compose electronic music, Modern Jazz, as well as folk style music. I have a special interest in music healing, how sound effects cells, disease, and psychology. I perform weekly in Brattleboro for a West African dance class.
I study music through composition and will offer this method of teaching to students.
I am also available to help non-native English speakers correct accents and develop their conversational English.
I am also available to tutor in creative writing, poetry, songwriting and the like.
I look forward to speaking and meeting in person in hopes of developing a working relationship that helps you develop yourself and achieve your goals.
