I greatly enjoy tutoring in math and physical sciences. Having taught physics both on the college level and occasionally to groups of homeschoolers, as well as tutoring various students, I've learned a great deal about helping students be successful.

While I spent some time as an education major, I ended up with a Ph.D. in Physics. Currently I work as a physicist / mathematician.

Differential Equations

My qualifications for teaching differential equations start with my having received a 3.5/4.0 when I took this course in college. I then proceeded to learn more about differential equations in a number of mathematically intensive courses needed to complete my Ph.D. in physics. For 15 of the last 18 years I have held a mathematical physics research and development position at IBM where differential equations are used in what I do. Finally, I have spent two years teaching physics and have had numerous...

I then proceeded to learn more about linear algebra in a number of mathematically intensive courses needed to complete my Ph.D. in physics. For 15 of the last 18 years I have held a mathematical physics research and development position at IBM where linear algebra is a mainstay of what I do.
