I have a 20- yr. career as a book publications proofreader and trained new hires. I instructed college and adult learners in writing term and thesis papers--teaching academic research and writing, grammar, mechanics, organizing, and APA & MLA citations, and can assist in the college admissions process, essays, and Prior Learning Process and Portfolios. I designed integrated curricula and was a director of a job readiness program, teaching classes in: self-development, stress management, communication skills, job search methods and tools, employability skills, career/academic/labor market exploration, resume, cover letter, and business writing, and basic computer usage and MS applications. I have taught, developed, and co-facilitated orientations, workshops, trainings, presentations, job clubs and peer groups for employees, volunteers, under- and graduate students, people in recovery, single parents, caregivers, incarcerated and ex-offenders, and those with disabilities.
