I am interested in tutoring people in English, in using Microsoft Suite programs like Word and Excel or tutoring children/adults with disabilities.

I have worked in the Human Service field for the last 7 years as a life coach and direct support staff. I have daily experience teaching children and adults with disabilities a variety of topics in an academic range (math, reading, spelling, phonics, etc.) as well as independent living skills like shopping, household skills (like cooking and cleaning) and budgeting/banking. I also design and implement programs to meet IEP goals. I am creative, outgoing and have a great sense of humor. I am First Aid and CPI certified, for your safety and mine.

I have also worked in the clerical/secretarial field for 7 years prior to my human services career, and have experience with Microsoft based software like Word and Excel. I use these programs daily, and would be able to teach someone to that ability.

Lastly, I would be interested in being an English tutor to help people become more fluent in the English language and the common vernacular or "slang" that would make them feel/speak more American.

I look forward to hearing from you to see how I may best be an asset to you and your learning style. Thank you for your consideration.
