I was born and raised in Iran so Farsi is my native language. I completed my high school in Iran and then moved to the U.S where I graduated from the District of Columbia with a bachelors in business administration. I have years of experience in Farsi that enable me to assist my students with conversation skills, grammar, syntax skills and also modern Persian literature.
I know what is required for new students to learn a new language because aside Farsi and English, I am also fluent in Dari.
I have taken the DLPT test as well as serving in the United States army. I am able to utilize my experience in better assisting my students pass the DLPT test in Farsi.
I also teach different levels of mathematics to students. Math has always been a strong point of mine throughout high school and college. I have obtained several computer programming certificates which were a breeze for me because of my good math skills and my ability to think abstractly.
I challenged myself with international students of various countries and learned their approaches in science and math. I know different methods and not just what is in the book to obtain the answer/solution. I believe each student has a unique way of processing information and therefore there is not a single method to teaching. I will work with my students to find the best possible method to help them understand the material efficiently.
I love teaching and am always looking forward to meet new students. My schedule is very flexible and I will try to work with you to find the best possible time that works for both of us.
