Hi prospective students,
My name is Matt, nick name for my official name Hee Song.
I have spent about 20 years in Korea and almost another 20 years in the States. I am currently working at United States Patent and Trademark office, examining patent applications in computer-related area. My graduate work from George Mason University in computer science and and some computer engineering courses landed a job there.
In contrast to my current work, my undergraduate study was in Biology and Chemistry from University of Virginia in Charlottesville (1996). I had a lot of adversity in the early years of living in the states due to not only the lack of language skills but more importantly the difficulty of the subject matter. I can relate to students who are in the situation similar to what I had or to students just trying to be on top of the courses they are taking.
If you are taking courses in Chemistry (General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry), Biology (General Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry), Computer Science (Programming, Data Structure, etc.), and Math (Calculus, Statistics, Probability) and need help in preparing for exams, overcoming falling behind, solving problems, or completing assignments, ask me!! I will try to figure out what are areas of your need and make sure students master the concepts/topics to get back on track.
