Taking a journey through education can be daunting. That’s why I am here to help. Let me guide you through the essence of subject matter in science and break down every step in helping solve math problems. I believe in developing basic foundational skills and knowledge which builds up overtime to knock down the complexity further ahead in your academic career.
I am a 24-year-old friendly, very patient honors student with a Bachelor in Science from George Mason University. I majored in Biology and am presently applying to medical schools. I am also the lead tutor for the AVID program on behalf of Fairfax County Public Schools. Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) is a middle and high school program that provides support to average students aspiring to attend college and would benefit from supplemental daily in school instruction. Tutoring high school and middle school students in math and science provided a position of responsibility, expertise and leadership. There is an overwhelming majority of students from low income households who receive little academic support at home in this program. It is a privilege to provide more than academic support, but also to serve as a mentor. This experience greatly inspires me to become a tutor for the many who need one on one assistance in subjects such as math and science.
I posses the knowledge, expertise and professionalism that will cater to your academic needs and I am very flexible in terms of my teaching style. Let me help you excel in subjects which trouble you as I am quick to determine your weaknesses and will focus on how to improve those areas.
