I not only have multiple years of experience teaching art and improv comedy to adolescents, teens, adults, and geriatrics, I also have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in creative art therapy and counseling, and I have completed improv comedy programs at schools in Chicago and New York as well.
While I currently perform improv with a team in the greater Washington, DC area, I have been a part of solo and group art shows in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Washington, DC.
My education has supplied me with the training and tools needed to help people help themselves through the healing power of art. My professional career has allowed me to apply and expand upon my training in multiple settings and with multiple populations that include children, adolescents, teens, adults, geriatrics, and families from very diverse backgrounds, including those with mental/physical disabilities and those who have experienced homelessness.
My goal is to use my subject matter expertise to improve the lives of children, adolescents, teens, and adults through art, no matter their background. Invite me in for an interview and see the great things we can accomplish together.
Thank you for your time, I look forward to speaking with you soon.
