I am well versed in many different aspects of English. I have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in English. My MA program was The Teaching of Writing and Literature. I currently teach English composition at NVCC and enjoy the challenge of helping all of my students progress as writers. I have been an English tutor for over six years, and I love tutoring students of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.

I have a knowledge base that is sufficient for taking, and doing well in, the ASVAB.

As an English instructor, I can certainly help with the English sections, but I am also educated in science and math and have a great interest in electronics.

I can definitely help students develop successful ways to confront the many facets of the ASVAB test.

Elementary Math

Elementary math is an essential foundation for higher levels of math. I have tutored students in elementary math for over six years. There are several approaches to many problems, and I work with the students in order to find the best approach for the individual. I am patient and can explain things in a way that makes math less intimidating than it used to be for students.
