Hello!
I am a Mechanical Engineer who recently graduated from Virginia Tech.
In school, I tutored privately for a short period of time but now that I have more time available, I would love to take advantage of my skills and pass them onto other science-oriented people or those who just want to pass a class. I truly enjoy teaching science and engineering as it fulfills my desire to let others know that their opportunities are endless; anything is possible. I love explaining math and the basics of not only how but also why things work/occur.
Through engineering, I studied hardcore math that entailed Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus 1 (Differentiation), Calculus 2 (Integration), Calculus 3 (Multivariable), and Differential Equations. Also, I deeply studied the art of technical writing and public speaking.
In addition to math classes, I also studied science and engineering fields including Physics 1 (F=ma), Physics 2 (Electricity, Electromagnetism, and Optics), Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Design, Solid Mechanics (Statics, Dynamics, and Deformable Bodies).
Give this engineer a chance and promise you will not be disappointed! I hope to hear from you soon!
Alex I.
