In the past, I have taught computer skills to 1st thru 6th graders in a private school, as well as being their substitute teacher for all grades. I have also taught Microsoft Office at Northern Virginia Community College, along several other computer related courses such as databases development and systems analysis and design. When my daughter was young, I helped out in her elementary schools helping he kids with reading and basic math.
I enjoy children and tailor my teaching method to the individual child. I will do an evaluation first, speaking with the student teacher ( for students enrolled in a school setting), I will speak with student or the parent as to what hey are currently doing and what goals the have in mind.I will evaluate where the student is and create a individual integrated plan with goals to help each student attain their goal.
