I am a former executive, specifically trained in business efficiency and consultancy. I am now engaged in Japanese language proficiency training as well as both business and cultural training within the Japanese environment. I am also an excellent piano teacher. I have been playing since I was 3 and trained classically for over 20 years. I am proficient in training anyone at any level, in both music mechanics and theory. Please, if you feel that you can benefit from my experience and training, contact me today!
First and foremost, I am ADHD myself. Having had to grow up with this condition, I learned a variety of techniques to help me focus and retain information. I have a great deal of experience working with children that have ADHD and ADD as a piano teacher and Japanese language instructor. I went on to study Microbiology and Molecular Biology at Brigham Young University and to do Genetic research. I also have a grandson who is ADD/ADHD with Aspergers.
I have been playing piano since age 3, and took lessons until I was 24. I have been the pianist, and organist for my church as well as the Music Chairman, Choir Director, and Music Specialist for my church.
I have been teaching piano for the last 30 years. I don't teach any specific method, but my own. I studied music at Brigham Young University.
