I hold a BS in Biology and focus in Biochemistry from the College of William & Mary. Raised in the great Washington DC metropolitan area, I attended Marshall High School and graduated in 2007 with the IB diploma + honors. I am currently applying to medical school for the 2014 cycle.
While in high school, I was a Biology and Spanish tutor for many of my peers in addition to my other EC commitments. In college, I tutored student athletes for two years in the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, intro Physics and Spanish. I am happy to say that all of my students passed their classes and maintained an above average GPA for student athletes. Aside from academics, soccer is a passion of mine that I love to share with everyone. I played high school varsity, NCSL Division 1, and Super Y league throughout my life. I was an assistant soccer coach for one year for the local house league--I enjoy working with kids, and bringing the best out of them!
Simply stated, I love my sports, studies, and helping those in need. I teach to see the lightbulb moments occur in others, much in the same way that it occurs to me! Thank you for taking the time to read all of this, and if I can be of service--send me a message!
