My goal of tutoring is to help my students build up practical problem solving skills that they could use to boost their school grades, through systematic approach and smart work.
I am an engineer with a bachelor’s degree as well as two master’s degrees in engineering. Formal training in engineering fields at both college and graduate schools built up a solid foundation for my strong analytical skills. I loved to play with numbers even before I was old enough to start school. During college, I didn’t do math work that our professors asked us to do, I gave myself the assignment to finish each and every practice exercise in the entire math books. You bet the only math grade I got was “A” due to my self-discipline and hard work. Through the years my love in math has grown stronger and stronger, both at work and at home. And due partly to my math tutoring, my own child was selected into the county’s gifted program, and is doing extremely well in math at school.
