Hi, my name is Isa.
I have been a tutor since 2004 at Nova. I started at the tutoring center the first year I was accepted there. Then I got another job at the math center (different place) at the same school. I earned an good background in math that allowed me to be a teacher assistant for the algebra classes.
After all this experience, I try to prove my belief that "math is not a hard subject," but students need to put in a minimum effort in the right way to get the main concepts behind each chapter. The way I hold a tutoring session is by explaining the main concepts in the chapter that students have questions about, then providing some good examples to ensure that the students have a solid idea about it. I really enjoy tutoring and I show enthusiasm about the subject. I wish the same will be true of all my future students.
