As a former US Foreign Service Officer in Education, Science and Technology specialist I worked with students from Latin America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. I have experience in using a variety of educational psychology methods to teach ESL, Spanish, Elementary Math and Science. I have served as consultant to various testing agencies which can prove useful in test taking strategies. I have also over twenty five years of teaching background in public and private schools as well as state colleges and universities. I was trained by Paulo Freire and other prominent educators from the University of California system.
I am a certified classroom teacher in California and Washington, DC for ESL, Spanish, History and Social Studies Pk-12. I have also have taken certificate educational training from Catholic University and the US Foreign Service Language Institute to prepare teachers and young learners.
