After I graduated as valedictorian, with over a 4.0 GPA from my Fairfax County high school, I went on to graduate from the University of Virginia in 3 years. I followed my dreams and earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology.

I can teach you effective study skills and how to budget your time. I can help you plan out your high school career if you are just beginning or help you tackle the college application process. I have been working with students for several years at both the high school and college level. I have excelled in my own AP and college level courses, and I know how to teach you what you need to know to perform in the classroom.

Study Skills

I am very patient and understanding of students needs. I work with students in order to help them learn how to budget their time and prioritize tasks. I also teach students how to study and what they need to focus on.

Genetics

I took college-level genetics courses at the University of Virginia (Biol 300) and was a biology major. I have tutored several students in genetics at the university level.

Organic Chemistry

I was a pre-med student in college and I know how challenging Organic Chemistry can be for chemistry majors, pre-med/pre-dental students, or anyone who just wants to learn about O Chem. Scoring in the top 90th percentile on my own graduate exam, I can help you understand why chemical reactions occur and teach you want you need to know to do well on graduate level exams.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
