With over 10 years of hands-on successful teaching experience, I am confident in my ability and passion to become your math tutor. I have earned a Bachelor’s and a Master's degree in Mathematics. I have been very successful at accommodating diverse students' needs by facilitating all styles of learners, offering individualized support and integrating effective materials.
I encourage learning by using a number of different manipulatives, hands-on activities, and various forms of technology. By incorporating discussion and open-ended questions I am able to facilitate a highly interactive and inquisitive tutoring atmosphere. In addition, I utilize weekly quizzes and monthly tests to track student progress, areas of weakness, and prepare students for final exams.
